VOICED : Defensa Civil eleva a 104 la cifra de heridos por sismo en Peru

A 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck southern Peru, injuring 104 people and destroying 168 homes, mostly made of adobe. The epicenter was near Acari in Arequipa. Electricity was gradually restored, but water supply remained disrupted. The government declared an emergency in Carabeli province and sent initial humanitarian aid, including tents and blankets.
