Five days after a Malaysia Airlines plane was allegedly shot down over Ukraine, pro-Russian separatists agreed to return the victims' bodies and black boxes. A Malaysian delegation received the flight recorders. Despite international pressure on Moscow, the rebels announced a ceasefire around the crash site. A train carrying the remains of 280 passengers was allowed to leave for Kharkov, where the bodies will be examined before being flown to Amsterdam. The UN Security Council unanimously adopted a resolution demanding safe access to the crash site and accountability for the attack, which the US attributes to a missile launched by pro-Russian forces.
