Protesters In Hong Kong Hit The Streets Despite Government Ban

For the 13th week, Hong Kong saw massive protests with clashes between protesters and police. Protesters, demanding the withdrawal of a controversial extradition bill, democratic elections, and an investigation into police brutality, threw Molotov cocktails and started fires. Police responded with tear gas and water cannons. Protesters also called for the resignation of Chief Executive Carrie Lam. The government is exploring legal measures to curb the unrest, and numerous arrests have been made.
