VOICED : Maduro aumenta 40% salario minimo previo a huelga general

This marks the fourth salary adjustment of the year, totaling a 454% increase. Maduro claims the new wage surpasses inflation, although official inflation figures have not been released since 2015. The IMF projects inflation at 457% for the year. The announcement comes a day before a 12-hour general strike organized by the opposition to demand Maduro's resignation.
