VOICED: Adventurer blazes record path through Egypt desert

The Great Sand Sea, spanning 600 km along the Egyptian-Libyan border, was crossed by adventurer Hisham Nissim and his co-driver in a record-setting 5.5 hours. Despite facing a storm, they averaged 140 km/h, surpassing typical speeds. This achievement, recognized by the Book of Records, comes at a time when Egyptian tourism is seeking new attractions due to a decline in visitor numbers. Currently, only 20,000 tourists visit the Great Sand Sea annually, requiring special permits and significant expenses.
