The Battle For North America: The civilans of Quebec

In 1759, British troops, led by Wolfe, retaliated against Canadian inhabitants, committing atrocities. Wolfe's brigadier, Townsend, expressed disapproval of the campaign's cruelty. The British then laid siege to Quebec, using artillery to bombard the city. Despite the destruction and civilian suffering, the bombardment did not bring the British closer to capturing Quebec.
