Revolutionizing Cooling: The Deep Lake Cooling System in Toronto

Deep Lake Cooling is an innovative system used to cool Toronto's office towers by utilizing icy water from 83 meters below Lake Ontario's surface. This system, developed by M Wave Corporation and the City of Toronto, is highly energy-efficient, using 75% less electricity than traditional systems. It currently serves 11 skyscrapers and plans to expand further. The system reduces greenhouse gas emissions and avoids using harmful CFCs. Other cities near large water bodies are considering adopting this technology.
