Restoring the Ancient Harp of Ur: A Unique Project

Two exotic cedar wood beams were delivered to a Royal Air Force base in the UK for a unique project. Initially thought to be a joke, the RAF bomb disposal unit played a crucial role in the restoration of the ancient Harp of Ur. Discovered in 1929 in a royal grave in Ur, the harp is approximately 4700 years old. It was displayed in a Baghdad museum but was looted during wartime unrest. The restoration aims to recreate the original sound and feel of the harp using the cedar wood and historical images.
