NASA | California Polytechnic Institute Students bring JWST Model to NASA GSFC

Cal Poly students created a detailed robotic model of the James Webb Space Telescope's deployment for NASA, using only public domain information. The model, a 1/6 scale version, demonstrates the complex deployment process. The project aimed to educate the public about the telescope's intricacies. The model will be displayed at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, and a smaller 1/20 scale model was gifted to the project manager for outreach events.
