U.S. To Plant 1 Billion Trees As Climate Change Kills Forests

The US Forest Service plans to plant a billion trees across millions of acres of burned and dead woodlands. Due to severe wildfires, many forests cannot regrow quickly on their own. The US Agriculture Department highlights the need to replant over 4,000,000 acres to aid forest recovery.
