The Hole in the Wall | POEM

The narrator fondly remembers sharing a room with his brother until his brother moves to his own room. Missing the shared space, the narrator attempts to create a secret tunnel using a metal ruler to connect their rooms. Despite persistent efforts, he only makes a small dent. His father eventually discovers the hole, leading to a humorous family confrontation where the narrator explains his intentions.
