VOICED : El Salvador inicia vacunación anticovid en niños mayores de 6 años

El Salvador has begun vaccinating children aged 6-11 with the Sinopharm vaccine. This move follows similar actions in Latin America, with Chile using Sinovac and Cuba using its own vaccines for younger children. El Salvador, with a population of 6.6 million, has fully vaccinated over three million people. The country also uses Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Moderna, and Coronavac vaccines. Despite these efforts, El Salvador is experiencing a rise in COVID-19 cases, with over 102,000 infections and more than 3,100 deaths reported.
