VOICED : El volcán de La Palma expulsa una nueva colada de lava muy líquida sobre la isla

A new, highly liquid lava flow emerged on La Palma, adding to the existing lava that has been accumulating in the Atlantic Ocean, forming a large magma platform. The eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano has not resulted in any injuries or fatalities but has led to the evacuation of around 6,000 residents and the destruction of 870 buildings. The lava has covered 246 hectares of land. As the lava reached the sea, it generated toxic gases, prompting the establishment of safety perimeters. Despite increased sulfur dioxide levels and ash density, air quality remains non-threatening according to authorities.
