VOICED : Policía ambiental y escuela de reciclaje en región fronteriza de Venezuela con Colombia

Venezuela has launched its first Environmental Police in Táchira, near Colombia, with seven agents. This pilot project focuses on waste classification and recycling. The community is becoming more aware, with 85-90% understanding the initiative. The Environmental Police work with a recycling school, initiated by a private plastic bag company, to educate and enforce preventive, communicative, and corrective measures. Recycling containers have been placed in San Cristóbal. The project aims to recycle various materials, making Táchira and San Cristóbal cleaner and healthier.
