VOICED : Ganancias de Petrobras caen a USD 100 millones

Petrobras reported a profit of 316 million reais in the second quarter, marking its third consecutive profitable quarter. However, this represents a 93% decrease from the previous quarter and a 14.6% decrease compared to the same period in 2016. The company faced significant losses in 2015 and 2016 due to falling oil prices, Brazil's recession, and a corruption scandal. By the end of June, Petrobras' net debt was over 93 million dollars, down from 104 million the previous year. To stabilize its finances, Petrobras announced a 25% cut in investments and launched an asset sale program aiming to generate 21 billion dollars by the end of 2018.
