The aid is provided without regard to the victims' religion. Meanwhile, Turkey announced a meeting with Iran and Russia in Moscow to seek a political solution to the Syrian conflict. Turkish President Erdogan and Russian President Putin agreed on the need to stop ceasefire violations in Aleppo, a key conflict zone. The Assad regime breached a truce that would have allowed civilians and rebels to leave Aleppo. The Syrian war has resulted in over 300,000 deaths in nearly five years.
