096 Fall of Jerusalem Part 2 - One Minute History

General Vespasian, a renowned military leader, is appointed to suppress a rebellion but has fallen out of favor with Emperor Nero. Despite his reluctance to lay siege to Jerusalem due to potential heavy casualties, Vespasian, accompanied by his son Titus, wages war against the Jewish population outside the city. Meanwhile, in Rome, Emperor Nero commits suicide after being declared an enemy of the people. Vespasian is then hailed as emperor by his legions and returns to Rome to claim the throne, leaving Titus to continue the war in Judea. The siege of Jerusalem commences.
