Grammys CEO Sues Recording Academy For Alleged Discrimination

Deborah Dugan, the first female CEO of the Recording Academy, was suspended following her discrimination complaint. She filed a 46-page complaint with the EEOC, alleging misconduct, conflicts of interest, and unfair Grammy voting practices. Dugan also reported sexual harassment and cultural issues within the Academy. The Academy responded by expressing regret over the situation affecting the Grammy Awards.
