CLEAN : Uganda charges defector presidential hopeful with treason

General Conde was arraigned at the Magistrates Court at City Hall under the Uganda Rd Chief Magistrate Court jurisdiction. He faced charges of treason and unlawful possession of firearms, as he was found with two pistols. Due to his health condition, having been taken from a hospital bed, the court allowed his personal doctors to access him at Luzira, where he is remanded.
