Queen Elizabeth II is sculpted in butter for the Canadian National Exhibition

Ross Butler, a Canadian artist known for his farm animal reproductions, was tasked with creating a life-size butter sculpture of Queen Elizabeth in Grenadier Guards uniform for the Canadian National Exhibition. The sculpture, weighing between 1,500 and 2,000 pounds, was crafted in a cold storage room using copper tubing for support. After the exhibition, the butter will be reclaimed, cleaned, and sold, ensuring no waste.
