Andrés Iniesta, former Barcelona captain, has joined Japan's Visel Kobe, a historic move as many players nearing retirement opt for Chinese teams. Iniesta chose Visel Kobe for its exciting project, joining ex-Arsenal player Lucas Podolski. The team is mid-table in the Japanese league. Hiroshi Mikitani, owner of Visel Kobe, also leads Rakuten, a sponsor of Barcelona.
