King George VI Visits The War Front

The King visits Holland, cheered by the liberated people, and meets with British, Canadian, and American troops. Field Marshall Montgomery updates him on recent victories and future offensives. At the British Second Army headquarters, the King knights Lieutenant General Dempsey. This marks his fifth tour of the battle line since the war began. The visit concludes as he boards a destroyer back to England, leaving behind a victorious Allied Army advancing towards Berlin.
