Victorian Desalination Project: an explainer

The video explains the process of desalinating seawater, starting with protective grills to safeguard marine life, followed by a filtration tank that removes sand and sediments. The filtered water is then processed in a reverse osmosis tank with ultra-thin membranes. The desalinated water is stored, treated, and transferred to the Cardinia Reservoir. Additionally, the project will create 225 hectares of wetland, coastal, and swampy woodland, highlighting its environmental impact.
