After delays, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid aka FAFSA is now open for students

The online FAFSA form for the 2526 school year is now open. The Department of Education has been testing the new form since October 1st, which raised concerns among lawmakers. In response, both the Senate and the House of Representatives passed a bill requiring the Department of Education to open the FAFSA form on October 1st each year.
