VOICED: Make-your-own wine

A group of finance professionals passionate about wine become weekend winegrowers. They rent allotments to create a personal blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, keeping the production for private tastings. The process is costly, with prices ranging from 22.5 to 45 euros per bottle, including grapes, advice, winemaking, and custom labels. This year, around 100 people globally will make their own wine, gaining hands-on experience and appreciation for the effort involved. These novice winegrowers plan to return to assemble bottles and design labels, enhancing their engagement with the wine culture.
