CLEAN : Syria Kurds take refugee

Thousands of Kurds, mainly women and children, fled Syrian Army attacks on the town of Russell Ein, crossing into Turkey. The men stayed to protect their homes. Refugees faced a challenging journey, aided by local residents. Over 11,000 Syrians have fled to neighboring countries, with 9,000 entering Turkey. From rooftops, refugees can see their home village and hear gunshots.
