In Villa de Guadalupe near Managua, 3,000 residents, mostly supporters of President Daniel Ortega, have experienced significant improvements in living conditions. The government has provided essential services like potable water, free electricity, and medical facilities. Over the past four years, 500 new homes have been built, replacing inadequate structures. The community benefits from parks, a school for 700 children, and food packages for the elderly. Residents, reliant on small trades, plan to vote for the Frente Sandinista, supporting Ortega's fourth term. Despite opposition exclusion from upcoming elections, poverty in Nicaragua has decreased from 42.5% in 2009 to 29.6% in 2014. A survey shows 65.7% support Ortega's re-election, with 77.1% intending to vote.
