Female conjoined twins separated in operation in Leeuwarden, Netherlands, return home to Molenend

In Leeuwarden, the De Vries family welcomes their Siamese twin girls, Fokje and Tjetske, who were successfully separated after a delicate surgery. The twins, now eight months old, are discharged from the hospital and return to their village, Molenend, where they are celebrated by the community. The family looks forward to a normal life with the twins.
