VOICED : Regresa a Colombia la monja liberada en Malí tras cuatro años de secuestro

Gloria Cecilia Narváez, a Colombian nun, was abducted by jihadists in Mali in 2017 and held for four years. She was released in October and returned to Colombia, where she was welcomed by fellow nuns. Narváez, who worked as a missionary, was part of the Swiss congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of Mary Immaculate. Before returning, she met Pope Francis and advocated for kidnapping victims in Colombia and Mali. Mali faces a severe security crisis, with areas controlled by al-Qaeda-linked groups since 2012.
