Pfizer has requested regulatory approval for its COVID-19 booster shot for all adults over 18. The FDA is expected to approve this, followed by a recommendation from the CDC. Currently, booster shots are primarily available to those 65 and older or at higher risk, but some states and New York City have made them available to all adults.
