Judge Dismisses Effort To Halt Student Loan Forgiveness Plan

Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett blocked a Wisconsin lawsuit challenging debt relief by not forwarding it to the full court, as she had jurisdiction over the lower court. Another lawsuit against the debt relief plan was dismissed by a federal District Court, which ruled that six Republican-led states lacked standing to sue. These states plan to appeal the decision.
