New York Stock Exchange To Reopen Trading Floor

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) will reopen its trading floor on May 26, after being closed for over two months due to COVID-19. NYSE President Stacy Cunningham announced that only a limited number of brokers will be allowed on the floor, adhering to strict safety measures such as avoiding public transport, temperature checks, wearing masks, and maintaining social distancing. The floor will be cleaned daily. The trading floors were initially closed in late March after COVID-19 cases were detected, and operations have been electronic since then.
