Following North Korea's recent nuclear test, Trump had previously indicated that military action was not his first choice. The U.S. is preparing new sanctions against North Korea to present to the UN Security Council. Trump also expressed hope for peace in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and offered to mediate the crisis between Qatar and its Arab neighbors.
