A Westlake High School student, Benjamin Prez Bakke, achieved a perfect score on his AP Statistics exam, a rare feat considering only 54% of students passed. Benjamin, passionate about math, was surprised by his perfect score, as only three students worldwide achieved this in May 2017. He prepared by studying notes and understanding math intuitively. Currently, he is taking advanced statistics and working on a project to develop an algorithm for detecting brain tumors. Despite his achievements, Benjamin remains grounded and is exploring future studies in math, philosophy, economics, and politics.
