In 1935 Hollywood, a notorious cat burglar known as 'The Cat' targets a party in the Hollywood Hills, stealing valuable jewels. Meanwhile, on a movie set, actress Natalie Nevins expresses her desire to perform her own stunts. Later, at a party, Natalie and her stand-in, Nathan, spot the cat burglar and engage in a high-speed chase. The pursuit leads to a rooftop confrontation where Natalie captures the burglar, revealing him to be Bud, a fellow stand-in. The story concludes with Natalie proving her capability to perform stunts without a stand-in.
