Are the ACTFL descriptors standards, things that everyone should know?

• Heck no! They just describe what you can do with the amount of language that you know.

• Yes? Don't they say that every single second-year student absolutely has to end the year at Intermediate High

• Yes? Doesn't every single student have to commit to memory "My hovercraft is full of eels" ?

The minimum requirement for Novice Low is at least two ____ related to the prompt with no grammatical connection (In other words, don't worry about verb conjugation)

Which of these will count, when we need at least two grammatical connections to a verb?
