How to DESIGN a GREAT CHARACTER - Step-by-step drawing tutorial!

How do I engage in the "discover process?"

• Gather visuals that have to do with my character or messaging and paste them on a "vision board" for inspiration and to have references

• plagiarize other peoples work and copy it into my project 

Brainstorm process includes:

• small "thumb nail" sketches to experiment with different body types, poses, clothing and faces of your character

• polished and finished versions of your character 

The design process entails: 

• Drawing random stuff and leaving it half finished. 

• Deciding on a final look for your character and sketching it out for delivery. 

The delivery stage is when:

• You produce your final concept and make a deliverable product based on trial and error and decision making. 

• You sketch a random combination of images and produce that as you final product.
