Believe it or not, as important as it is, many students do not know how to study for a test. Well, studying for a test is easy. The first thing that you must do is take out your notes. Open your notes up to the section that you are supposed to review. Read what you wrote in your notebook. When you are done, close your notebook and see if you remember the ideas that you were studying.Still don’t remember? Open your notebook back up a try again.

Being involved in after school sports and clubs is not aright. It is a privilege. Therefore, students have to meet eligibility requirements. If students have any “D”s or “F”s,they are not allowed to play. Also, if students have behavior issues in class, they cannot be on the team or in the club. Lastly, students need to keep good attendance. If students miss school, they most certainly cannot come to practice.Being on a team is a lot of responsibility. If students are not proving to be responsible, they will not be permitted to be in clubs or teams.

Chimpanzees and humans are alike in many ways. A baby chimp laughs when its mother tickles it. After chimpanzees fight, they kiss and make up. When one chimpanzee comforts another, it gives it a hug or pat on the back. There are, of course, many ways that chimpanzees and humans are different. Chimpanzees are smaller and stronger than humans. An adult male chimpanzee stands three or four feet tall and weighs about 100 pounds. But a chimpanzee can lift more weight than a man who is six feet tall.

A chimpanzee’s body is made for climbing and swinging in the trees. First, it uses its long arms to reach a branch. Next, with its flexible hands and feet, it grabs and hooks on to the branch. Finally, it swings
from that branch to another branch of tree.

Chimps live in groups and like each other a lot, but sometimes they fight. Because they don’t want to stay angry at each other after a fight, they make up by holding a hand out to the other and kissing. They show they are sorry with pats and hugs. Then the anger goes away.

Every day, millions of people use Google to search for information on the internet. While there are several other search engines on the internet, Google is the most popular. One reason is that the results Google returns tend to be more relevant to a user’s search. Google uses special programming to sort out as many sites as possible that are likely not applicable. A second reason is that Google returns results very quickly, often in less than a second.

On the end of the mantle is one of our family’s most prized possessions: a brass mantle clock. The clock is rectangular and rests on four legs. There is a column at each corner of the clock, and the glass face is suspended between the columns. The brass dial features Roman numerals. There’s also a smaller dial (below the main dial) that we can use to set an alarm.

Many people love cats but cannot have cats in their homes for various reasons. They would like to help care for homeless cats and spend time petting and playing with them, but it just isn’t possible. Because this situation is so common, “Cat Cafes” are popping up in many cities. Cat cafes are homes to a group of friendly cats. The cafes sell things like coffee, juice, and snacks to their patrons, who help support these cats by purchasing the snack items. Patrons can spend time petting and playing with the cats while enjoying a quick snack.

At some point, almost every dog will need a bath. Knowing how to give your dog a bath will save your family money and may be less stressful for the dog. Begin by purchasing a shampoo made just for dogs. Be sure the shampoo doesn’t contain any harsh chemicals that could burn your dog’s eyes or irritate his skin. Fill the tub with about 4 inches of warm water. Then, brush your dog thoroughly to remove any debris or tangled, matted fur. Gently place your dog in the tub, and then use a plastic container to pour water over his body. Until he becomes accustomed to the bath, avoid getting water near his face. Watch out, though—you may end up getting more wet than the dog if he’s feisty!

Both dishwashers and washing machines use warm or hot water and detergent to make things clean. Washing machines are used to clean clothes. Clothing is agitated (shaken) within a solution of detergent and water. Agitating the clothing loosens dirt particles so that they wash away easily. A dishwasher, on the other hand, does not agitate its contents. Instead, a person arranges plates, cups, and glasses on racks before turning on the machine. Then, rotating arms inside the dishwasher spray the items with hot, soapy water before spraying them with clean water. The rotating water jets dissolve and wash away food particles.

Wild chimpanzees are rapidly disappearing. Some people are trying to solve this problem. Otherwise, chimpanzees may one day exist only in zoos. People are trying to save the rain forests and woodlands where the chimps live from being cut down. It will take many people working together to solve this problem.
