I think the Tea Act had a negative affect because it cause a lot of problems such as the Boston Tea Party and people being upset that Boston Harbor was closed.

I believe that the Tea had a positive effect because according to Chapter 5, Lord North made the taxed tea very cheap for the colonist to buy. It made the tea easier to for the colonists to buy.
