DNA is a double stranded molecule made of repeated units called nucleotides. One nucleotide is made of one phosphate, one sugar, and one nitrogenous base (Adenine, Thymine, Guanine, Cytosine). The nitrogenous bases form weak hydrogen bonds between them that act like a zipper between the two strands. A is always bonded with T. G is always bonded with C.
