Once upon a time, there was a kingdom in Java that was attacked by another kingdom. The king asked his Queen to save her life. Alas! In the middle of the jungle, the enemy killed all her guards. However, the Queen was lucky because she changed herself into a golden snail and survived.

One day, an old woman saw the snail and took it home. She looked after it. Whenever the old woman was not at home, the snail turned into a human being. She cooked and did the household chores. When the old woman got home, the Queen quickly changed into a snail again. It happened several times and made the old woman curious. One day, the old woman peeped and saw what was going on. She broke in, immediately. She asked, "Why did you change yourself into a snail?". The Queen told her what happened. The old woman was surprised to know that the snail was a Queen.

Later, from the head of the village they discovered that the king had won the battle and he was looking for his wife. Then the village head sent a message to the king telling him that his wife was safe.

Several days later, the King and his guards came for the queen. They thanked the villagers for their kindness and brought the old women to their palace.

A man and his son were going to the market. While they were walking, a country man passed and said, “You fool, what a donkey for but to ride upon?”

So the man put the boy on the donkey. But soon, some passersby said, “See that lazy, young steer. He lets his father walk while he rides.”

So the man ordered his boy to get off and got on himself, but the passerby said, “Shame on… that lazy old man, he lets his poor son walk, while he rides.”

The man did not know what to do. Last, he took his boy on the donkey. Then the passerby said, “Aren’t you ashamed of yourself for overloading the poor donkey?”

The man and the boy got off. They cut down a pole, tied the donkey’s feet to it and raised the pole to their shoulders. They arrived to a bridge when the donkey, getting one of its feet loose, kick all out and caused the boy to drop his end of the pole. In the struggle, the donkey fell over the bridge and then it was drowned.

The sugar glider is a marsupial, just like the many other Australian animals – the kangaroo, the koala and the wombat for instance. The sugar glider is a possum – very similar to the tupai in Indonesia. It basically lives in trees. It eats leaves and fruit. However, the Australian sugar glider has a very special skill. It can jump from tree to tree like a tupai but it can also `sort of fly’ as well. In fact, it glides or terbang layang in Bahasa Indonesia. A grown brownie may be up to nine feet tall. It may weigh over 1,600 pounds. But home when the brown bear is born, it weighs less than one pound. If you grew at the same rate, you would weigh almost 10,000 pounds when you were fully grown!

Butterflies are a type of insect with large and often colorful wings. They start out as eggs. They lay their eggs on leaves. The eggs hatch into caterpillars with tabular body. The caterpillar eats leaves, beds, or flowers of plants.

When a caterpillar is full sized, it goes into another stage called chrysalis. Caterpillars attach themselves to something solid before becoming a chrysalis. The caterpillar inside the chrysalis changes into a butterfly. Some butterflies make the change in one week. Some others take years to change.

When the change is complete, the adult butterfly splits the chrysalis. The insect unfolds its wings and pumps blood and air into then. It spreads out the wings until they become dry and harder. The beautiful butterfly then flies to get nectar from flowers. Most butterflies live only for one or two weeks.

 Where does a caterpillar change into a butterfly?

Ant is an insect. There are more than 12.000 species of ants all over the world. An ant is tiny insect but it can lift 20 boles Its own body weight.

There are three kinds of ants in a colony, the queen, the female workers don't have wings. The queen is the only ant that can lay eggs. The male ants' job Is to male with future queen ants and they do not live long afterward. Once the queen grows to adulthood, she spends the rest of her life laying eggs. A colony may have a queen or many queens depend on the species.

Ant colony has soldiers that protect the queen, defend the colony, gather food, and attack the enemy colonies. If they are able to defeat their enemy, they will take away their eggs. When these eggs hatch, the next ants will become slaves.
