English verbs are divided into three groups: normal verbs, non-continuous verbs, and mixed verbs.
Few verbs are "normal verbs."
"Normal verbs" are usually physical actions which you can see somebody doing.
The second group, called "non-continuous verbs," is bigger.
"Non-continuous verbs," are also called "stative verbs".
"Stative verbs" are usually things you cannot see somebody doing.
"Stative verbs" can always be used in the continuous forms.
