1. Then he mentioned [the case] of a man who, having journeyed far, is dishevelled and dusty, and who spreads out his hands to the sky saying:'O Lord! O Lord!', while his ______ is Haraam (unlawful), his ______ is Haraam, his ______ is Haraam, and he has been ________ with Haraam, so how can his supplication be answered ?!'"

1. ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ الرَّجُلَ ______ أَشْعَثَ أَغْبَر يَمُدُّ يَدَيْهِ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ: يَا رَبُّ يَا رَبُّ وَمَطْعَمُهُ حَرَامٌ وَمَشْرَبُهُ حَرَامٌ وَ مَلْبَسُهُ حَرَامٌ وَغُذِيَ بِالْحَرَامِ فَأَنَّى يُسْتَجَابُ لَهُ

إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى ____لاَ يَقْبَلُ إِلاَّ _____ وَإِنَّ اللّهَ أَمَرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ بِمَا أَمَرَ بِهِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ

On the authority of ‘Abee Hurayrah `Abdir-Rahmaan ibn Sakhr – Radiyallaahu `anhu – who said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah - Sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam - say: “What I have forbidden for you, avoid. And what I have ordered you to do, do as much of it as you can. "It was only the excessive ________and their disagreeing with their Prophets that destroyed those who were before you."

مَا نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْهُ فَاجْتَنِبُوهُ وَمَا أَمَرْتُكُمْ بِهِ فَأْتُوا مِنْهُ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ فَإِنَّمَا أَهْلَكَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ كَثْرَةُ_____ وَاخْتِلاَفُهُمْ عَلَى أَنْبِيَائِهِمْ

أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَشْهَدُوا أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلاَةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ فَإِذَا فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ عَصَمُوا مِنِّي_________ إِلاَّ بِحَقِّ الْإِسْلاَمِ وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ تَعَالَى

عَنْ_____ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَشْهَدُوا أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلاَةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ

On the authority of 'Abee Ruqayyah Tameem ibn 'Aws ad-Daaree- Radiyallaahu `anhu - that the Prophet - Sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam - said: “The Deen is__________”. We said: “To whom?” He said: "To Allaah, and His Book, and His Messenger, and to the leaders of the Muslims and their common folk."

أَنَّ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: الدِّينُ النَّصِيحَةُ قُلْنَا لِمَنْ؟ قَالَ:____________ وَلِأَئِمَّةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَعَامَّتِهِمْ

عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ________ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الْحَلاَلَ بَيِّنٌ وَ إِنَّ الْحَرَامَ بَيِّنٌ وَ بَيْنَهُمَا أُمُورٌ مُشْتَبِهَاتٌ لا يَعْلَمُهُنَّ كَثِيرٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ

فَمَنِ اتَّقَى______ فَقَدِ اسْتَبْرَأَ لِدِينِهِ وَ عِرْضِهِ وَ مَنْ وَقَعَ فِي______ وَقَعَ فِي الْحَرَامِ كَالرَّاعِي يَرْعَى حَوْلَ الْحِمَى يُوشِكُ أَنْ يَرْتَعَ فِيهِ

أَلاَ وَإِنَّ لِكُلِّ مَلِكٍ حِمًى أَلاَ وَ إِنَّ حِمَى اللَّهِ______ أَلاَ وَإِنَّ فِي الْجَسَدِ مُضْغَةً إِذَا صَلَحَتْ صَلَحَ الْجَسَدُ كُلُّهُ وَ إِذَا فَسَدَتْ فَسَدَ الْجَسَدُ كُلُّهُ أَلاَ وَ هِيَ الْقَلْبُ

"I heard the Messenger of Allaah - Sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam - say: 'That which is lawful is ______ and that which is unlawful is ________, and between the two of them are doubtful matters about which many people have no knowledge of

Thus, he who avoids ______ matters clears himself in regard to his religion and his honor, But he who falls into ______ matters, falls into that which is unlawful, Like the shepherd who pastures around a sanctuary, all but grazing therein.

Truly every king has a sanctuary, and truly Allaah's sanctuary is His prohibitions. Truly in the body there is a morsel of flesh, which, if it be whole, all the body is whole, And if it is corrupt, all of the body is corrupt, Truly, it is the ______'."

On the authority of the Mother of the Faithful, Umm `Abdillaah `_______ - Radhiyallaahu `anhaa who said: "The Messenger of Allaah - Sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam - said: He who innovates something in this matter of ours [i.e. Islaam] that is not of it will have it rejected [by Allaah].' "

"The Messenger of Allaah - Sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam - said: He who ______ something in this matter of ours [i.e. Islaam] that is not of it will have it rejected [by Allaah].' "

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ أَحْدَثَ فِي أَمْرِنَا هٰذَا مَا لَيْسَ مِنْهُ فَهُوَ رَدٌّ(رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ وَمُسْلِمٌ وَ فِي رِوَايَةٍ لِ____) مَنْ عَمِلَ عَمَلاً لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْرُنَا فَهُوَ رَدٌّ

On the authority of 'Abee `Abdir-Rahmaan `___________ – Radiyallaahu`anhu - who said: “The Messenger of Allaah - Sallallaahu`alayhi wasallam – and he is the Truthful, the Believed; narrated to us: 'Verily the creation of each one of you is brought together in his mother's womb for forty days in the form of …,

Verily the creation of each one of you is brought together in his mother's womb for forty days in the form of a ______, Then he becomes an _______ for a like period, then a _______ for a like period,

Then there is sent to him the angel who blows his soul into him And who is commanded with four matters: to write down his _______, his ________, his _________, and whether he will be _______.

فَوَ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لاَ إِلَهَ غَيْرُهُ إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ____ حَتَّى مَا يَكُونَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهَا إِلاَّ ذِرَاعٌ فَيَسـْبِقُ عَلَيْهِ الْكِتَابُ فَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ____ فَيَدْخُلُهَا وَ إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ____ حَتَّى مَا يَكُونَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهَا إِلاَّ ذِرَاعٌ فَيَسـْبِقُ عَلَيْهِ الْكِتَابُ فَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ____ فَيَدْخُلُهَا

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: بُنِيَ الْإِسْلاَمُ عَلَى خَمْسٍ شَهَادَةِ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، وَإِقَامِ الصَّلاًةِ، وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ وَحَجِّ البَّيْتِ، وَصَومِ رَمَضَانَ (رَوَاهُ _________)

On the authority of 'Abee `Abdir-Rahmaan `Abdillaahi ibn `Umar ibn al-Khattaab – Radiyallaahu`anhumaa - who said: "I heard the Messenger of Allaah - Sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam- say: 'Al-Islaam is built on ______

عَنْ أَبِي______ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: بُنِيَ الْإِسْلاَمُ عَلَى

I said: ‘Allaah and His Messenger know best.’ He (Sallallaahu`alayhi wasallam) said: ‘It was ______ who came to teach your religion.’ (Reported by Muslim)

He said: ‘Then tell me about its signs.’ “He (Sallallaahu`alayhi wasallam) said: ‘That the slave-girl will give birth to her _____, and that you will see the barefooted, naked and destitute shepherds competing in constructing lofty buildings.’

"He (Sallallaahu`alayhi wasallam)said: 'Eemaan is to believe in _____, His _____, His ____, His ______, the _______and to believe in the ________- the good of it and the evil of it.' “He said: ‘You have spoken truthfully.

So tell me about ________.’ “He (Sallallaahu`alayhi wasallam) said: ‘It is that you worship Allaah as if you can see Him, And if you can’t see Him (i.e. worship Him as if you see Him), then (knowing that) verily, He sees you.’

Also on the authority of _______– Radiyallaahu`anhu - who said: "One day we were sitting with the Messenger of Allaah - Sallallaahu`alayhi wasallam: "When there approached a man …

"One day we were sitting with the Messenger of Allaah - Sallallaahu`alayhi wasallam: "When there approached a man whose _____ were exceedingly white and whose ____was exceedingly black. No signs of travel were apparent on him, and none of us knew him.”

ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ فَلَبِثْتُ مَلِيًّا ثُمَّ قَالَ: يَا عُمَرُ أَتَدْرِي مَنِ السَّائِلُ؟ قُلْتُ: اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ. قَالَ: فَإِنَّهُ____ أَتَاكُمْ يُعَلِّمُكُمْ دِينَكُمْ

قَالَ: فَأَخْبِرْنِي عِنْ أَمَارَاتِهَا قَالَ: أَنْ تَلِدَ الْأَمَةُ رَبَّتَهَا وَأَنْ تَرَى الْحُفَاةَ الْعُرَاة َ الْعَالَةَ رِعَاءَ الشَّاءِ_____ فِي الْبُنْـيُانِ

“Thus he whose _______was for Allaah and His Messenger, his ______was for Allah and His Messenger, And he whose _______was to achieve some worldly benefit or to take some woman in marriage, His _______was for that for which he _______.”

On the authority of the leader of the believers, ‘Abee Hafs `________ –Radiyallaahu`anhu - who said: “I heard the Messenger of Allaah –Sallallaahu`alayhi wasallam – say: ‘Actions are but by intentions and every man shall have only that which he intended.
