The trilling wire in the blood, sings below inveterate scars, appeasing long forgotten wars

I had not thought death had undone so many

I can hear sweat trickling down your cheek, your heartbeat sound like sasquatch feet, thundering, shaking the concrete

Of restless nights in one-night cheap hotels, and sawdust restaurants with oyster-shells

Some say the blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice, I say the darker the flesh then the deeper the roots

His ineffable effable, effanineffable, deep and inscrutable singular name

He's broken every human law, he breaks the law of gravity

I start to think, and then I sink into the paper like I was ink, when I'm writing, I'm trapped in between the lines

Though things change, the future's still inside of me, we must remember that tomorrow comes after the dark
