Once upon a time, plants could talk. And they could also walk! The sturdiest tree was King Molave. He lived in a lofty mountain. One day, King called all the plants and trees together for a meeting. The trees arrived at the meeting. Every tree even tried to outdo each other in going to the meeting place first. But the buri palm was delayed for many days because he played on his way. So he put a curse on the buri palm. “You must be punished for being so happy-go-lucky. And as a King, I give you the punishment.
You shall never see your children, and your children’s children, for you shall die just as your seeds are ready to grow”. And from that day, the buri palm died without seeing his children and children’s children.
