In chapter 6 we learn about the falling of the city of Jericho. This city was fortified by mighty walls, that fell before God’s people, for them to realize that victory comes from God’s hand and by His power.

chapter 5 verse 3: God ordered Joshua to circumcise the children of Israel (removing part of unwanted skin), it is a symbol of removing the sin and the bad habits from our lives, also symbol of baptism in the New Testament. We must get baptized in order to become members of the church of God.
