Designs the lighting. Sets up the lights and operates lighting board. Follows the director's cues.

Is responsible for everything that happens during the production of the program. It is the director's responsibility to make sure every crew member is doing their job correctly and to make sure nothing goes wrong. Supervises the studio and control room set up. The director gives the talent any last minute instructions before going to the control room.

Operates the studio camera. Frames and compose the shots. Is responsible for studio, set and camera set-up. Follows the director's cues. Should not talk during a production. Are also responsible for studio clean up, striking and putting the cameras away.

Operates the switcher as directed by the director or assistant director during the rehearsals and taping. Does the switching and is the technical crew chief. Prior to the rehearsal sits at the switcher and checks the camera color and exposure.

Anyone who appears in or is heard in a production is talent. Actors, announcers, interviewees, reporter, anchors, guests, hosts...

Is responsible for the sound of the production. The audio director sets up the microphones and audio board. Ensures that the microphones are connected and operating properly. Runs audio level checks for all microphones. Checks that all other audio sources are working properly. Follows the director's cues. Operates the audio board during the production. The audio director makes sure all audio equipment and cables are picked-up and put away in the proper places.

Is in charge of the entire production or program series. Organizes and schedules the production or a production series. Is in charge of budgets.

Runs the main switcher that puts the programs on air.

Works with the director. Make sure all crew members are in their places. While the director is on the studio floor, use the headset to talk to the camera operators for the audio director and technical director. Assists the director during the actual production. Times the rehearsal and the taping of the production.
