Simple Present Tense is used to describe(形容)

1) habits(习惯),

2) unchanging situations(不变的情况) and

3) general truths(事实).

明白吗? 明白的话就选黄色。

Simple Present Tense 的 verb(动词) 是由 subject (人物)影响的.

明白吗？明白就选紫色。

Subject (人物) can be divided into 2 types:

1) Singular (一, satu, one)

2) Plural (多, 2个以上)

Note: Uncountable(不可数的) = Singular.

明白吗？明白就选青色。

简单来说, Simple Present Tense是关于动词的后面要不要加 s，或者是es, 或者是ies.

明白吗？明白就选黑色。

如果人物(Subject) 是 Singular(一), 动词就加 s@es@ ies.

明白吗? 明白就选粉红色。

Example 1：

Ali _____(喝) a glass of milk every morning.

Subject= Ali= 一个人= Singular

所以Ali 后面的动词要加 s@es@ies. 明白吗？

Example 2：

My little brother _____ (哭) when he is hungry.

Subject = little brother = 一个人= singular

Singular= 动词后面加s.

如果动词的最后一个字母是y,就把y 换成ies.

Example 3：

It _____(吠) when it _____(看见) any stranger.

Subject = it = singular

Singular= 动词后面加s.

he, she , it = 动词后面加s.

如果人物(Subject) 是 Plural(多), 动词就不要加 s@es@ ies.

Plural= 不要加s

I, You, We, They= 不要加s
