Sarah and Jake were friends who liked to play baseball together. Sarah asked Jake to play baseball after school and Jake told her no. Sarah's feelings were very hurt by Jake.

Joe and Billy were planning a game of soccer. Joe thought they should play at the park. Billy thought they should play at Joe's house. Billy and Joe finally agreed to play and the school park.

She went to her best friend's house to study. When she got there, she noticed how big her best friend's dog, Jasper, had gotten. They went outside and rode bikes, had dinner, and then she went back home.

Lisa went to her friend's house to play outside, and Lisa thought about how nice the weather was. When they went back inside, her best friend, Sam, wondered what they would have for dinner.

On the way to school, Emma and Nicole encountered a stray cat. Emma felt unsure as she saw the cat fluff it's tail. Nicole realized that the cat must have been lonely and scared, so she reached down to pet it. Then Nicole screamed.

Tyler hates polka music.

Leslie sat in front of Paul. She had two long, brown pigtails that reached all the way down to her waist. Paul saw those pigtails, and a terrible urge came over him. He wanted to pull a pigtail. He wanted to wrap his fist around it, feel the hair between his fingers, and just yank. He thought it would be fun to tie the pigtails together, or better yet, tie them to her chair. But most of all, he just wanted to pull one.
