Students take the Phonics Inventory to determine placement in the System 44 software sequence.

To get started on the Phonics Inventory, click "next."

If you need to interrupt a testing session, press the "pause" button to stop, but you can only do this three times per section.

The warmup activity does not count in the scoring of your responses.

If you need to hear directions again, you may click the speaker icon.

To log out and resume testing later, click "Exit."

The first two sections test phonemic awareness and conventions of print.

The last section includes nonsense words, which are made up and have no meaning.
